Spotlight: No match for Spiritual when second at Epsom in June but bagged a Listed win at Deauville (1m, soft) the following month and posted a career-best RPR when third in Group 3 at Glorious Goodwood (7f, good) 31 days ago; rain no issue for her.

Spotlight: Seems to handle most ground (won C&D Listed race on soft last year) and turned in best effort when easily beating Bright Thunder to win a Group 3 at Epsom on Derby Day; nothing wrong with that form (Bright Thunder and the fourth won at Listed level next time) and she's a lot better than she showed in a Deauville Group 1 last time; respected despite her 3lb penalty.

Spotlight: Maiden winner here last year who was an excellent second in the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket (1m, good to firm; acts on good to soft) on seasonal return; failed to back up that effort in the Irish equivalent or the Coronation Stakes but this drop in class could prove liberating back from ten weeks off.

Spotlight: Improved again when going down by 1l to Blue Bolt in C&D Listed event (good to firm) in July; her run of progressive form came to a halt when only fifth (American Gal second) in 1m Ascot Group 3 last time but she raced more freely than ideal.

Spotlight: Ended her 3yo campaign with a C&D Listed success on good under Hector Crouch last September; appealed as the sort to kick on again at four but well held in Epsom Group 3 won by Spiritual on reappearance and not seen since.

Spotlight: AW novice winner who was tackling turf for the first time when landing a 1m Chantilly Listed race (good to soft) in May; not disgraced when seventh in Group 1 Prix de Diane over an extended 1m2f back there in June and went down by only a neck in a 1m Ascot Group 3 since, with Cajole behind her in fifth; needs considering.

Spotlight: Looked a good prospect when making a successful debut in 1m Yarmouth novice (soft) last October; those in behind haven't managed a win in a combined 17 starts since but she could do no more than score easily and it's potentially significant that her in-form top stable is prepared to pitch her straight in at Group level on her return.

Spotlight: Chelmsford (7f, AW) at the beginning of July on latest outing saw her fill the runner-up spot at Listed level for a second time, but there's more on her plate in this competitive Group 3.

Spotlight: Winner of all four AW starts, culminating in ready 3l Deauville Listed success over 9.5f last December; looked one who could make her mark at Group level in 2025 but she hasn't been seen since; good to see her back but her length of absence, ability to act on turf and the outside stall are all reasons for a watching brief this time.

Spotlight: 2yo Listed winner who showed she's trained on well when placed in Goodwood Listed race (1m, good) and Chantilly Group 2 (1m, good to soft) at the start of the summer, but she could manage only seventh in a Group 3 back at Goodwood for the Glorious meeting last month.

Spotlight: Two 7f AW wins prior to second in the Fred Darling at Newbury (7f, good) in April; unable to make an impact when stepped up to 1m in the 1,000 Guineas the following month but still ran very close to her Newbury RPR; back from a four-month break with a tongue-tie added to the hood she's worn on all starts; remains unexposed.

Spotlight: Runner-up in German Group 3 (1m, good to soft) last August; wasn't far off that level when 4l seventh of 12 in 1m2f York Listed race five weeks ago but she'll need a big career best to make a significant impact here.
